Rock Band 101

To become proficient musicians, students need an opportunity to apply the skills they learn in lessons. We have been offering rock band classes since 1998. Typically these classes are for ages 12 through 16 and are grouped by age and experience. They will learn the essentials of playing together, choose their favorite music and learn to play it together as a band. We offer three sessions each year: Fall, Spring and Summer. Our next session starts October 7. The cost is $100 or add $10 late registration after September 24. The classes meet Thursday evenings at either 7 or 8pm.

Steve Gregory coaches our rock bands. He played in the folk/funk duet "The Groovey Nobodys" while living in Boston - playing original music in the Providence and Boston areas. Steve currently plays guitar and sings with the Cape Cod dance band, "Felonious Funk" and the jazz / pop duet, "Two Cool".
